LOA Architecture was instrumental in the design process, donating in-kind architectural services for the new Arvada Bulldog Commons at Arvada High School. The facility was a community service project for Leadership Arvada and Arvada High School students.
Years ago the school’s original commons area was repurposed as classroom space needed for a growing student population, leaving students with no place to hang out between classes and at lunch time. LOA Architecture’s design recaptured the classrooms, removing existing partitions and allowing natural light to penetrate deeper into the commons at the lower level and the cafeteria at the upper level. The remodel improves school morale and helps build a greater sense of community and pride in the school.
