About 240 students who used to attend nearby Vivian Elementary will now join the students at Stober Elementary. To make room for the increased number of students, LOA has designed a two-story addition on the east side of the current school. This addition includes 4 classrooms, a music room and restrooms. The design includes an outdoor classroom to the north of the addition that can also be used as an amphitheater.

“I have had the privilege to work with Tim Habben and LOA Architects as part of our building renovation on two occasions.

The LOA team has been incredibly responsive and timely throughout both bond projects, demonstrating a commitment to providing the essential upgrades for compliance as well as some greatly needed updating both structurally and cosmetically.

Stober was built in 1964 and the building has received minimal renovation since then. Mr. Habben and his team immediately demonstrated a commitment to ensuring that the school met the required ADA standards, mechanical needs were upgraded, and the aesthetics of the building received a much-needed refresh. This included the design of a new front entrance that created greater curb appeal, ultimately resulting in a more welcoming entrance to the school.

Overall, my experience working with LOA Architects has been exceptional. I have appreciated the great passion and dedication they have given to both of our project and our building upgrades and the new addition have made a world of difference!”
