This city-owned facility was designed to meet the specific needs of Continental Airlines. The facility has a mezzanine component used for parts storage. The ground floor contains the general office space, employee locker rooms and maintenance bays. Special care was taken when specifying finishes including the floor where the maintenance bays are located. Translucent glass high bay windows are used to bring a certain amount of daylighting to the the interior space. A pre-engineered structure was provided with a metal roof and fascia panels, and acid-etched precast concrete exterior walls. All interior walls susceptible to damage are concrete masonry.
