LOA Architecture adds another school to K-12 portfolio

LOA Architecture continues work on the Paul Sandoval Campus with the start of construction on Building #4

Denver, Colorado – Construction for Building #4 on the northwest corner of the Paul Sandoval Campus began in July of this year. The Stapleton Design Review Committee approved LOA Architecture’s design for the building at the prominent intersection at Central Park Boulevard and 56th Avenue. The three-story building with a central atrium totals 56,000 s.f. and reflects the existing campus building materials.  The building use is intended for instructional classrooms that can accommodate 500 students.  Construction is scheduled to be completed by August 2018. Mark Young Construction has been selected as the general contractor.

LOA Architecture generated the master plan of the 20-acre campus and has designed the Small Learning Community (SLC), Gymnasium and Commons Building all of which have been in use for the last three years. In an effort to strengthen the design team, LOA Architecture asked the local firm of TreanorHL to provide planning assistance and interior design services for all four buildings on the campus.

As part of Northfield High School’s growing requirements, LOA Architecture has completed the design process for a new full-service kitchen in the Commons Building and a new International Baccalaureate (IB) Library to serve the High School. Both projects are to be completed by August 2018.
